Common Sense vs Bombs

COMMON SENSE VS BOMBS

Every new invention’s like a birth and it grows bigger day by day.
The same with weapons on this earth: the arms race’s born and goes its way.
They have dangerous toys, billions worth, but it’s us who will have to pay.
They treat the Earth like there’s a third and all that’s left for us is pray.

We must stop what’s going on.
When we’re together we’re just as strong
as the people who are doing wrong
by destroying the world we’re living on.

Many states are depending on death and disease, it’s what their industries need.
They feel responsible for none and their deeds are ruled by greed.
Now they think that they have won just because they took the lead.
But the time has long past gone for a weak protest and a modest plea.

We must stop what’s going on.
When we’re together we’re just as strong
as the people who are doing wrong
by destroying the world we’re living on.

But I am weak and full of fear, the end of life is drawing near.
I am so meek I can not steer and wait for you all; I will be at the rear.

We must not let their dirty weapons in, to let them go on is a sin.
In the universe we’re but a pin, but we’ll be dust if the arms producers win.
