Andy de Zeeuw ('The Last Detail') and his brother Marco ('Trigger') played in a band called 'Darkness Awaits'. They asked me to do the keyboards for a gig in Vlaardingen. With Marco I later started writing some songs for what was to become the 'Dreamcarnation' project.

In that same period I briefly played in a hardrock coverband (with no name yet). This band was founded by guitarists René Visscher and Hans van der Klugt. Hans played the guitarsolo in the Dreamcarnation song 'Salesman'. A song I wrote with Martin Hendriks and Mike Boekhout.
