1975 - INDIGO - 1977 a next band Scarab or back to homepage

I grew up in the Hague listening to Bach, Elvis Presley, Alice Cooper and Deep Purple. I liked the sound of the organ and because my parents did have one (a Thomas organ) I soon learned the basics. At 16 I formed my first band with school friend Ron. Because we both liked Deep Purple the band's name should be a blue-like colour, hence: 'Indigo'.

Band:

Ron Koel - guitar
Herman Ruijters - drums
Nico Smink - bass
Julian Driessen - Farfisa organ
Ton van de Graaf - vocals, percussion
Rene Gilliam - lyrics and engineer

1. 1977 - Party at sportsclub
2. 29-10-1977 - Reunion at OLS Berend Botje
